ABOUT

altrove open call is a project by eight curators under the coordination of Alessandro Mancassola, designed and realized during the Multimedia Programming’s class, included in the second level degree of Art Communication and Didactics in the SantaGiulia Fine Arts Academy in Brescia.

SantaGiulia Fine Arts Academy of Brescia offers more than 260 courses, that go through all the artistic and design ambits. Teachers are young and dynamics, professional figures able to offer to the students an inestimable heritage of knowledges and experience and to put them in contact with the national and international labour market.

Alessandro Mancassola (Arzignano – VI, 1979)

Lives and works in Saronno (VA). He works in the Barbara and Ale Duo with Barbara Ceriani Basilico. Among others, they exhibited at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, at Pac in Milan and Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation in Turin. He teaches at SantaGiulia Fine Arts Academy in Brescia, Brera Fine Arts Academy in Milan and G. Carrara Fine Arts Academy in Bergamo. www.barbaraandale.com

Sara Conte (Brescia, 1996)

Graduated in Art Didactics for Museums, she studies Art Communication and Didactics at the SantaGiulia Fine Arts Academy in Brescia. She attends the LIS course, Italian Sign Language. She created, wrote and directed a theatrical guided tour for the Vittoriale degli Italiani.

Sabrina Favalli (Mantua, 1991)

Graduated in Art Didactics for Museums, she studies Art Communication and Didactics at the SantaGiulia Fine Arts Academy in Brescia. At the moment she is an operative volunteer at the Francesco Gonzaga Diocesan Museum in Mantova.

Melania Raimondi (Brescia, 1994)

Graduated in Art Didactics for Museums, she studies Art Communication and Didactics at the SantaGiulia Fine Arts Academy in Brescia. From 2017 she is curatorial assistant for Ilaria Bignotti and from 2018 she is co-founder of ACME Art Lab, a curatorial group.

Camilla Remondina (Brescia, 1995)

Graduated in Art Didactics for Museums, she studies Art Communication and Didactics at the SantaGiulia Fine Arts Academy in Brescia. She collaborates with Antonio Scaccabarozzi Archive (Milan) and she is co-founder of ACME Art Lab, a curatorial group.

Emilia Rombol? (Brescia, 1993)

Graduated in Photography at LABA, she held a Master’s degree in Contemporary Artistic Photography at IDEP in Barcelona (Spain). She currently studies Art Communication and Didactics at the SantaGiulia Fine Arts Academy in Brescia. She loves travelling and writing on her blog.


Lorenza Testa (Brescia, 1996)

Graduated in Art Didactics for Museums, she studies Art Communication and Didactics at the SantaGiulia Fine Arts Academy in Brescia. For her graduation thesis she curated a photography exhibition. Between her interests rock music and contemporary art.

Elena Zattoni (Desenzano del Garda, 1995)

Graduated in Artistic Decoration, she studies Art Communication and Didactics at the SantaGiulia Fine Arts Academy in Brescia. She participated in some decorative projects: in 2015 for a space inside the LAAS (Lonati Anglo-American School) in Rezzato (Brescia) and in 2016 for one of the civic halls in San Polino (Brescia).

Beatrice Da Lan (Belluno, 1994)

TEMPORARY COLLAB

She’s attending the last year of Art Didactics for Museums at the SantaGiulia Fine Arts Academy in Brescia. She really believes and working hard to bring art into her territory. She currently writes for the online art magazine Smart Review and she is the the co-founder of Mirada company dealing with art education and creative workshops.
